Personal Project 366- January 2016
Here once a month, I will try and share my personal project for the year. It's a photo a day challenge. At least one photo everyday, for a year. To be honest, it is hard to take just one and that is my challenge for sure. Sometimes, it is hard to pull out the big camera and snap. I have already learned so much about myself and the lighting I look for lately. These photographs reflect moods, memories and moments that I was able to freeze in time.
Tomorrow, I am starting another project with my 366 which is called the O'clock project. It was created by my very talented friend Kelly of Fiddle-Leaf Photography. If you would like to learn more about the project or join in, visit her site here. The concept is to take a photo every day for a month of your families witching hour. Mine is 4:30-5:30. The girls are hungry, they are usually whiny, and we are all waiting for Daddy to call us when he is done work and then walk through the door 30 minutes later. We need to eat, and then I start work at 6 or I am headed out the door for Red Shoe Society meetings. It's crazy, and chaotic but I know there is beauty in it. I am so excited to discover my new favourite images over the month of March. Please join me as I embark on Kelly's crazy hair-brained idea. The best part is, she want's us all to take part. Anyone with a phone, a DSLR, a point and shoot, doesn't matter. Follow along on instagram by hashtagging #oclockproject2016
I sure hope to see you all there! Now here is a look at our January 2016.
