Monday Must Haves - Blow My Hair Back: October Faves
Hey everyone! Halloween has just passed which means CHRISTMAS. No wait, it's still way too early for that! It means it's time for Baileys Faves for the month of October! Keep on reading to find out what blew my hair back in the month of October.
Thayers Witch Hazel with Lavender
Lindz and I swore by a certain kind of face toner for so long. Then one day, it was gone. I needed a face toner, and quick! I usually love the feel of my face being toned. Its so cooling and so so nice. I had some weird hormone issues this month and so my face was breaking out more in that lovely jaw line area. Lindsay has been using witch hazel for sometime, so naturally, I went on my ol' amazon prime and grabbed some infused with lavender. I used it on my face and over night, the redness had calmed down and my face felt amazing. My breakouts have cleared up and I'm in love with this stuff!
Ok, so this is old and I get it. So, I had surgery at the end of October, which led to me being stuck in bed for a few days. I got tired of Netflix original series and watching crappy movies, I went back to what I know, 30 Rock. I forgot how funny this show was, even though I've already watched it before in its entirety. (can someone please send me TV recommendations...please?) Seriously, I've watched like 4 seasons in 3 days. I do find myself wondering if Tracy Morgan was acting or is he just like that? Although admittedly I am super bored, and amazon has gotten all my dollars because I'm bored. Luckily, being a blogger for a couple of places, and owning a laptop allows me to get all the working done.
I love love love winners. I'm a winners girl. Always and forever. (although back in the day they didn't hire me for my first job....) but anyways, I love winners. They have really been coming through for me these past few weeks. Cute denim trench coats, Calvin Klein Jeans that make my butt look like it's in my lower back. Even a few months ago when we were in Calgary and I found a sassy little backless number. Candles, and candies, and sheet masks! Seriously winners, there is anything you can't do?
Shop Words and Co. Letterboards
Lindsay and I picked up a couple of these letter boards we've seen floating around the internets for sometime now. I love the idea of writing hilarious quotes, random thoughts, and even nice little sentiments on this little guy and then laughing for sometime about it. My husband is the king of writing random things on this little board. He loves to do it, and usually comes up with a gem. These lovely folks are from Calgary and have some product at The Makers Keep, who you know we love!
That sums up some of our faves for the month of October. Stay tuned for next month when we talk about November faves! Until then folks...
